Act
to provide for the acquisition of Tinsukia and Dibrugarh
Electric Supply Undertakings
Whereas it is expedient to provide for the acquisi
tion of Tinsukia and Dibrugarh Electric Supply
Undertakings for a public purpose and for giving
effect to the policy of the State toward securing the
principles specified in clause ( ) of Article 39 of the
Constitution of India;
It is hereby enacted in the Twenty-fourth year of
the Republic of India, as follows:-
Section 1 • THE TINSUKIA AND DIBRUGARH ELECTRIC SUPPLY UNDERTAKINGS (ACQUISITION) ACT, 1973
