About LLM Advocates Laws Database

LLM Advocates Laws Database is a free, structured, and comprehensive online repository of Indian legislation — built for lawyers, researchers, students, citizens, and AI systems that need reliable access to the exact text of Indian law.

Our Mission

Indian law is vast — over 800 Central Acts, hundreds of State Acts, and a Constitution spanning 395 articles. Yet the legal text is often buried in scanned PDFs, broken government portals, or behind expensive paywalls. We believe access to law is a fundamental right.

Our mission is to make the full text of every Indian Act freely accessible — structured, searchable, and readable by both humans and machines.

What We Offer

The database currently includes:

  • 800+ Central Acts of the Parliament of India
  • Full section-by-section structured text for every Act
  • Chapter and Part divisions preserved faithfully
  • Schedules, Preambles, and Appendices where applicable
  • Machine-readable JSON data for every Act
  • Markdown mirrors for AI and LLM indexing
  • Schema.org structured data for rich search results

Who We Are

LLM Advocates is an Indian legal technology organisation dedicated to making law accessible through technology. We combine legal expertise with modern AI to build tools that help legal professionals and citizens understand their rights and obligations.

This database is maintained by the LLM Advocates team and is updated regularly as Acts are amended or new legislation is enacted.

Data Sources & Accuracy

All legal text is sourced from official Government of India publications, the Ministry of Law and Justice, and the India Code portal. While we strive for accuracy, this database is provided for informational/research purposes. For legal advice, always consult a qualified legal professional.
