(ii) If the President by reason of illness, absence or any other cause is unable to perform the duties of his/her office the Vice-President shall have all the powers of the President and shall perform all the duties of the President.
(iii) However, the Vice-President shall report to the President all such actions taken by him/her in the absence of the President at the earliest opportunity thereafter within a reasonable period. But in any case this period should not exceed one month.
