(a) "Appointing Authority" means the Governor of Assam.
(b) "Board" means the Selection Board constituted under Rule 15.
(c) "Commission" means the Assam Public Service Commission ;
(d) "Government" means the Government of Assam ;
(e) "Governor" means the Governor of Assam
(f) "Member" means a member of Assam Technical Education Service ;
(g) "Polytechnic" means the polytechnic including the Girls Polytechnic and the Assam Textile Institute but not including the junior Technical School.
(h) "Selection list" means the list as referred to in Rule 6(1)(e), 13(7) and 14(3).
(i) "Service" means the Assam Technical Education Service ;
(j) "Year" means the Calendar Year.
