to extend the Assam Excise (Amendment) Act, 1939 to Autonomous Districts of Garo Hills, Mikir Hills and North Cachar Hills.
Preamble.—WHEREAS it is expedient to extend the Assam Excise (Amendment) Act, 1939 (Assam Act VIII of 1939) to the Autonomous Districts of Garo Hills, Mikir Hills and North Cachar Hills hereinafter called the said Districts ;
It is hereby enacted in the Fifth Year of the Republic of India as follows:—
