(1) On and from the appointed day this Act come into
force, so much of the area of the existing Subansiri
District, as is contained within the boundaries set
out in Schedule 11 to this Act, and hitherto known
as Daporijo sub-division, shall henceforth be
constituted as a separate unit of administration and
be known by the name of UPPER SUBANSIRI
DISTRICT.
