Section 422 • THE ANDAMAN AND NICOBAR ISLANDS (MUNICIPAL) REGULATION, 1994
Explanation
Explanation- The Municipality may refuse to sanction the erection or re-erection or any building either on grounds affecting the particular building or in pursuance of a general scheme sanctioned by the Administrator restricting the erection or re-rection of buildings or any class of buildings within specified limits for the prevention of overcrowding or in the interest of the residents within such limits or for any other public purpose and sanction may also be refused in any case in which there is any dispute between the Municipality and the applicant as the land on which is it proposed to erect the building until such dispute is decided.
