167. Every sanction for the erection or re-erection of a building which is given or deemed to have given by a Municipality shall remain in force for one year only only from the date of such sanction and if the erection or reretion of the building is not commenced within the said period of one year, the sanction shall be deemed to have lapsed:
Provided that such lapse shall not bar any subsequent application fresh sanction under the forgoing provisions of this Regulation.
