Section 101 • THE ANDAMAN AND NICOBAR ISLANDS (MUNICIPAL) REGULATION, 1994
Section 101(1)
101. (1) In a municipal area in which a general water-rate is levied clause (g) of sub-section (1) of section 80 the Municipality shall, and in any other case a Municipality may, provide a supply of drinking water within the Municipal area and shall cause such tanks, reservoirs engiens, pipes, taps and other works as may be necessary for the said purpose, to be constructed and maintained, whether within or without the Municipal area and shall errct sufficient stand-pipes or other conveniences for the gratuitous supply of water to the public.
