(a) "Act" means the Haryana Municipal Act, 1973.
(b) "Head of the Department" means -
(i) in respect of the Sanitation, Public Health and Health Departments of a Committee, the Municipal Medical Officer of Health;
(ii) in respect of the Engineering and Building Department of a Committee, the Municipal Engineer; and
(iii) in respect of the remaining municipal administration, the [Executive officer or in his absence, the Secretary.]
