(a) "Forest Act" means the Indian Forest Act, 1927. The words and expressions used in the Indian Forest Act, 1927, not defined in these Rules shall have the meanings assigned to them therein.
(b) "Forest Contract" means a contract whereby Government agrees to sell and the purchaser agrees to buy forest produce.
(c) "Forest Contractor" means a person who purchases forest produce under a forest contract.
(d) "Contract area" means the area covered by forest contract.
