        "content": "Except as hereinafter provided-\n(a) the jurisdiction of the High Court at Patna shall, as from the appointed day, extend to the territories transferred by this Act from the State of Uttar Pradesh to the State of Bihar;\nand\n(b) the High Court of Judicature at Allahabad shall, as from that day, have no jurisdiction in respect of the said territories.",
