8. (1) A person shall not be eligible for
nomination or co-option as a member
of the Council or of the Committees
formed by it, if he -
(a) has been adjudged by a court of
law to be of unsound mind;
(b) is an undischarged insolvement;
(c) has been convicted by a court of
law for an offence involving moral
turpitude.
