In the principal Act, for section 17, the following shall be substituted, namely:-
"17. The following shall be the Officers of the University, namely:-
1. The Chancellor,
2. The Vice-Chancellor,
3. The Pro-Vice-Chancellor,
4. The Registrar,
5. The Comptroller,
6. The Director of Physical Plant,
7. The Director of Student Welfare,
8. The Deans of Faculties,
9. The Director of the College of Basic Sciences and Humanities,
10. The Director of Research,
11. The Director of Extension,
12. The Director of Post-Graduate Studies,
13. Librarian, and
14. Such other persons in the service of the University as may be declared
by the statutes to be officers of the University."
