(1) If, in the opinion of the Deputy Commi ssioner or any officer authorized by him in
this behalf, the execution of any order or resolution of a Gram Panchayat or an
Anchal Samiti or a Zilla Parishad or the doing of an act which is about to be done
or is causing or is likely to cause injury or annoyance to the public or to lead to a
breach of the peace or is unlawful, he may, by order in writing, suspend the
execution of that order or resolution or prohibit the doing of that act.
