(1) When under the provisions of this Chapter any person may be
required or is liable to execute any work the Commissioner may, in accordance with the
provisions of this Act and of any bye-laws made in this behalf, cause such work to be
executed after giving such person an opportunity of executing the same within such time
as may be specified by him for this purpose.
