            "content": "The Receipts for Payment of Land Revenue Rules, 1960\nPublished vide G.O.Ms. No. 2532, Revenue, dated 3.12.1960\nAP015\nIn exercise of the powers conferred by Sections 56 and 60-A of the Madras Revenue Recovery Act, 1864 (Madras Act 11 of 1864) the Governor of Andhra Pradesh hereby makes the following rules\nRules\n1.\nThese rules may be called the Receipts for Payment of Land Revenue Rules, 1960.\n2.\nEvery person making payment of Land Revenue shall be entitled to a printed machine numbered receipt bearing the Taluk and Office seal for the payment made by him. The machine numbered receipt book should contain duplicate receipts.\n3.\nEvery time when payment of Land Revenue is made before the close of a fasli, a provisional Land Revenue Receipt in the form given in Form I below shall be given to the person who makes the payment.\n4.\nThe Provisional Land Revenue receipt shall be signed by the village headman (Munsiff or Malipatel) and the Karnam (Patwari) if he is present.\n5.\nSoon after the close of the Fasli year, a consolidated final receipt in Form II below shall be given to the person who made the payment. The receipts shall be signed by the Village Headman (Mali Patel) or any other official authorised by the Collector to receive the amount and the Karnam (Patwari) who will be responsible for the correctness of the entries and for having duly entered the sums in the accounts.\n[Substituted as per G.O.Ms. No. 827, Rev.
