(1) for the words "The Magistrate may notwithstanding anything herein before contained, direct the sale of" the words and figures "The Forest Officer who made the seizure under section 52 may, notwithstanding anything contained in this Act or any other law, sell" shall be substituted ;
(2) the following shall be added at the end, namely:-
"and shall report about every such sale to his official superior".
