        "content": "(a) \"Commission\" means the Public Service Commission for the State of Bihar;\n(b) \"Inspector-General of Prisons\" means the Inspector-General of Prisons for the State of Bihar;\n(c) \"Direct recruitment\" means recruitment made in accordance with the provisions of Part III of these Rules;\n(d) \"Member of the Service\" means a person appointed to a post in the Service under the provisions of these Rules whether in a substantive capacity or otherwise;\n(e) \"Government\" means the Government of Bihar,\n(f) \"Service\" means the Bihar Jail Service;\n(g) \"Scheduled Tribes\" means the Tribes specified in Part II of the Constitution (Scheduled Tribes) Order, 1950;\n(h) \"Scheduled Caste\" means the Caste specified in Part II of the Constitution (Scheduled Caste) Order, 1950; and\n(i) \"the Governor\" means the Governor of Bihar;\n3.\n(a) the Senior Branch; and\n(b) the Junior Branch.\nPart II",
