(a) "Act" means the Bihar Gramdan Act, 1965;
[(b) "Declaration" means declaration filed under Section 7 of this Act;]
[(c) "Landless persons" with reference to clause (3) of Section 5 of the Act means persons having no land and include persons who have only homestead lands;]
(d) "Form" means a form set out in the Schedule;
(e) "Section" means of a Section of the Act;
(f) "Schedule" means a Schedule appended to these Rules;
[(ff) "Gramdan Confirmation Officer" means person or persons to whom, the Chairman of the Bihar Bhoodan Yagna Committee, may by notification in the Official Gazette, delegate any or all of his powers and functions under this Act] ;
(g) words and expression used in these Rules but not defined separately therein shall have the same meaning as are assigned to them in the Act.
