An Act to provide for the improvement and clearance of slum areas in towns and country sides of the State of Assam
Whereas it is expedient to improve and/or clear the slum areas in the State of Assam on sound planning principles with the object of securing proper sanitary conditions, to conserve and promote the public health, safety and general welfare of the people;
It is hereby enacted in the Tenth Year of the Republic of India as follows:-
