(b) The Assistant Teachers of Assam School Service (Provincialised) cadre shall be promoted to Assistant Headmaster as per list prepared under sub-rule (b) of Rule 4. Similarly, Assistant Headmaster will be promoted to Vice-Principal and Vice-Principal to Headmaster and Headmaster to Principal.
(c) Assistant Teacher in Assam School Service (Provincialised) cadre shall possess minimum graduate degree while those of Lower School Service (Provincialised) shall be at least Matriculate.
