            "content": "Notwithstanding the expiry of sub-rule (2) of rule 81\nof the Defence of India Rules, any order regulating or pro-\nhibiting the production, distribution, use or consumption of\nelectrical energy issued under the aforesaid sub-rule before\nthe commencement of this Act and in force in any area imme-\ndiately before such commencement, shall continue to be in\nforce in such area and be deemed to be an order made by\nthe Provincial Government under section 2.",

            "content": "If any person contravenes any order made or\ndeemed to be made under section 2 he shall be punishable\nwith imprisonment of either description for a term which\nmay extend to three years or with fine or with both.",

            "content": "The expiration of rule 81 of the Defence of India\nRules shall not affect anything done under that rule or any\nobligation or liability incurred under any order made\nunder that rule, or affect any penalty or punishment in\nrespect of any contravention of any such order or any\ninvestigation or legal proceeding in respect of any such\nobligation, liability, penalty or punishment as aforesaid;\nand any such investigation or legal proceeding may be\ninstituted or continued and any such penalty or punishment\nmay be imposed as if the said rule 81 had not expired.",

            "content": "Any order made or deemed to be made under\nsection 2 shall have effect notwithstanding anything\ninconsistent therewith contained in the Indian Electricity\nAct, 1910, or any other enactment (other than this Act)\nor in any instrument having effect by virtue of any\nenactment other than this Act.",

            "content": "The Provincial Government may by order direct that\nany power conferred on it by section 2 shall, in such\ncircumstances and under such conditions, if any, as may be\nspecified in the direction, be exercised by any officer or\nauthority subordinate to it.",

            "content": "Where an order purports to have been made and\nsigned by any authority in exercise of any power conferred\nby or under this Act, a Court shall, within the meaning of\nthe Indian Evidence Act, 1872, presume that such order was\nso made by that authority.",
