        "content": "(1) \"State\" means the State of Assam;\n(2) \"State Government\" means the Government of the State of Assam;\n(3) \"Prison\" means any of the prisons specified in Clause 5 of this Order;\n(4) \"Inspector General\" means the Inspector General of Prisons, Assam;\n(5) \"Superintendent\" means the Superintendent of a prison, and includes any person who for the time being is acting as Superintendent of a prison;\n(6) \"Detenu\" means a person who is detained in pursuance of an order made under Section 3 of the National Security Ordinance, 1980 or under Section 3 of the Assam Preventive Detention Act, 1980;\n(7) \"Family\" means the parents (including father, mother, grand-father and grand-mother), wife, children (including son, daughter, step-son, step-daughter, grand-son and grand-daughter) and unmarried sister wholly or mainly dependent on the detenu.",
