Preamble. Whereas it is expedient to establish a Contingency Fund of the State of Assam in the nature of an imprest to be placed at the disposal of Governor to enable advances to be made by him out of this Fund for the pur- pose of meeting unforeseen expenditure pending authorisation of such expen- diture by the Legislature by law under Articles 205 and 206 of the Constitution of India:
It is hereby enacted as follows :-
