(a) suits and cases between parties within the jurisdiction of the different Village Courts on the whole of the Khasi Hills Autonomous District excluding the syiemships, Lyngdohships, sirdarship or wahadarships listed in Appendix II annexed and to suits and cases which are not triable by such Village Courts;
(b) suits and cases between parties residing within the jurisdiction of the different Additional Subordinate District Council Court.
