            "title": "Section 2. In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires,- (c)",

            "content": "(c) “medicare service institution” means all institutions\r\nproviding medicare services to people under any recognise\r\nsystem of medicine which are under the control of the State\r\nGovernment, Central Government or local bodies, etc.\r\nincluding any private hospital having facilities for treatment\r\nof sick and used for their reception or stay; any private\r\nmaternity home where women are usually received and\r\naccommodated for the purpose of confinement and ante-natal\r\nand post-natal care in connection with the child birth or\r\nanything connected therewith; and any private nursing home\r\nused or intended to be used for the reception and\r\naccommodation of persons suffering from any sickness,\r\ninjury or infirmity whether of body or mind, and providing\r\nof treatment or nursing or both of them and includes a\r\nmaternity home or convalescent home or mobile medicare\r\nunit;",

            "content": "(d) \"medicare service persons\" in relation to a medicare service\r\ninstitution shall include,-\r\n(i) Registered Medical Practitioners (including a person\r\nhaving provisional registration) working in a medicare\r\nservice institution;\r\n(ii) Nurses registered under the Gujarat Nurses,\r\nMidwives and Health Visitors Act, 1968;\r\n(iii) Auxiliary Nurse and Mid-wife;\r\n(iv) Trained Dai; \r\n(v) Medical student;\r\n(vi) Nursing student;\r\n(vii) para medical staff and other staff or employee\r\ndirectly or indirectly employed by a medicare service\r\ninstitution for providing required services;",

            "title": "Section 6. (1) In addition to the punishment specified in section 4, the",

            "title": "Section 7. (1) The State Government may, by notification in the Official",

            "content": "Gazette, make rules for carrying out the purposes of this Act.  \n \n(2)  All rules made under this section shall be laid, for not less than \nthirty days, before the State Legislature as soon as may be after they are \nmade and shall be subject to rescission by the State Legislature or to such \nmodification as the State Legislature may make during the session in which \nthey are so laid or the session immediately following. \n \n(3)  Any rescission or modification so made by the State Legislature \nshall be published in the Official Gazette, and shall thereupon take effect.",

            "title": "Section 8. (1) The Government or any person authorised by the",
