[(a) The Vice-Chancellor, who shall be the Head of the Council;]
(b) Associate Directors of Research appointed by the University for various agro-climatic zones falling in the University area,
(c) Scientists entrusted with the work of research on various crops, commodities or natural resources, by the University,
(d) such other officers and employees appointed by the University for the purpose of the [Council;]
[(e) the Director of Research and the Dean of Post- graduate Studies, who shall be the Secretary of the Council.] (3) [The Research Council] shall have control also over other agricultural research activities in the University area.
