In computing the period of limitation prescribed in the Indian Limitation Act, 1908 (IX of 1908), or in any other law for the time being in force, for an appeal or application to the High Court of Judicature for East Punjab, where the limitation expires on the 15th day of November, 1947, or has expired before the said day, the period from the 29th day of September, 1947 to the 15th day of November, 1947, shall be excluded.
