(a) "Act" means the Commission for Protection of Child Rights Act, 2005 (Central Act No. 4 of 2006);
(b) "Commission" means the Chhattisgarh State Commission for Protection of Child Rights constituted under Section 17 of the Act;
(c) "Chairperson" means the Chairperson of the Commission;
(d) "Member" means the Member of the Commission;
(e) "Member-Secretary" means the Member-Secretary of the Commission;
(f) "Section" means the section of the Act;
(g) "State Government" means the Government of Chhattisgarh;
(h) Words and expressions used and not defined in these rules but defined in the Act shall have the same meaning herein respectively as assigned to them in the Act.
