            "content": "(a) \"Act\" means the Street Vendors (Protection of Livelihood and Regulation of Street Vending) Act, 2014 (No. 7 of 2014);\n(b) \"Form\" means the form appended to these rules;\n(c) \"Market Committee\" means the Market Committee constituted by the Municipal Authority for the area under his jurisdiction;\n(d) \"Mayor\" means Mayor of the Municipal Corporation constituted under the Chhattisgarh Municipal Corporation Act, 1956 (No. 23 of 1956);\n(e) \"Municipal Officer\" means the Municipal Commissioner in the case of Municipal Corporations and the President of the municipal body in the case of Municipalities and Nagar Panchayats;\n(f) \"President\" means the President of the municipal body in the case of a Municipality or a Nagar Panchayat constituted under the Chhattisgarh Municipalities Act, 1961 (No. 37 of 1961).",

            "content": "(a) The Municipal Officer shall be ex-officio Chairman of the Town Vending Committee;\n(b) Chairman of the Market Committee shall be ex-officio Vice Chairman of the Town Vending Committee;\n(c) The Mayor or the President, as the case may be, shall nominate four counsellors as members;\n(d) The Municipal Officer shall nominate two reputed social workers or sociologists as members;\n(e) The Vendors' guild shall nominate ten vendors, half of whom shall be women as members:\n(f) The Superintendent (Traffic Police) shall nominate and officer not below the rank of a Deputy Superintendent of Police, to serve as member of the Town Vending Committee;\n(g) The Municipal Officer shall nominate three officials namely, Market Superintendent, Health Officer and Town Planner as members of the Town Vending Committee;\n(h) The Director, Town and Country Planning shall nominate an official not below the rank of Assistant Director as member of the Town Vending Committee;\n(i) The President of Chamber of Commerce shall nominate a representative as member of the Town Vending Committee;\n(j) The President may, as required, invite any other person to be associated with the Town Vending Committee as adviser or consultant, on or without remuneration as may be approved by the Town Vending Committee, to be paid out of the funds of the Town Vending Committee.",
