(a) Must be a Citizen of India.
(b) Must have passed a Higher Secondary Examination (12th class) or its equivalent with at least 50% marks. There shall be relaxation of 5 percent marks for candidate belonging to SC/ST/OBC (excluding creamy layer) category as per rules of State Government. Candidates who have appeared in the +2 examination will be given provisional admission in the Pre-D. Ed. Examination but they will have to submit the proof of having passed +2 Examinations at the time of counselling.
