(a) to call for any information or record;
(b) to appoint the Provost;
(c) to remove the Provost in accordance with the provisions of sub-section (6) of section 09;
(d) Such other powers as may be prescribed by the Statutes; and he/she is empowered to take the decisions from time to time in the interest of the University for the matters not included so far in the statutes;
