        "content": "(i) he shall be the Chairperson of the Faculty concerned and shall preside over the meetings of the faculty;\n(ii) he may attend the meeting of any Board of Studies;\n(iii) he shall supervise and co-ordinate the work of the different Boards under the Faculty;\n(iv) he shall plan and organize seminars, refresher courses, and work-shops, pertaining to the subjects under the Faculty;\n(v) he shall inspect and guide the University Departments, colleges and institutions in respect of subject under the Faculty;\n(vi) he shall be responsible for the due observance of the Statutes, the Ordinances, and the regulations relating to the Faculty;\n(vii) he shall recommend to the Executive Council for approval, the proposals for the programmes of visiting teachers and for the exchange of teachers; and\n(viii) he shall exercise such other powers and perform such other functions as may be prescribed by the relevant Statutes.",
