Section 35 • THE ASSAM SLUM AREAS (IMPROVEMENT AND CLEARANCE) ACT, 1959
Section 35
35. If a notice has been given under this Act to a person requiring him to execute a work in respect of any property, movable or immovable or to provide or do or refrain from doing anything within a time specified in the notice and if such person fails to comply with such notice, then the Authority may cause such work to be executed or such thing to be provided or done and may recover all expenses incurred by it on such account from the said persons as an arrear of land revenue.
