        "content": "(a) Convene, preside over and conduct meetings of Anchalik Panchayat.\n(b) discharge all duties imposed and exercise all the powers conferred on him under this Act, and the rules made thereunder and perform such functions entrusted to him by the Government from time to time.\n(c) exercise supervision over the Executive Officer for securing implementation of the resolutions or decisions of the nchalik Panchayat or of the Standing Committees which are not inconsistent with the provisions of this Act, or any general or special direction issued under this Act;\n(d) Exercise overall supervision over the financial and executive administration of the Anchalik Panchayat and place before the Anchalik Panchayat all questions connected therewith which shall appear to him to require its orders and for this purpose may call for records of Anchalik Panchayat.",
