        "content": "In sub-section (3) of section 1 of the Assam\r\nCriminal Law Amendment Act, 1934, for the\r\nsentence \"The remainder of the Act shall come\r\ninto force in such area and on such date as the\r\nLocal Government may by notification direct\",\r\nthe following sentence shall be substituted,\r\nnamely:-\r\n\"The remaining provisions of this Act, in\r\nwhole or in part, shall come into force in such\r\nareas and on such dates as the Local Govern-\r\nment may, by notification in the Assam Gazette,\r\nspecify and for this purpose different dates may\r\nbe specified for different provisions of this Act and\r\nfor different areas\".",
