        "content": "Where the period of requisition specified in an order of requisition is less than five years, the competent authority may, from time to time, by order in writing served on the landlord in the manner laid down in section 6, extend the period of requisition, after giving the landlord a reasonable opportunity of making his representations; but in no case shall the total period of requisition exceed five years.",
