            "content": "(a) \"Executive Officer\" means the Executive Officer of the committee;\n(b) \"form\" means form appended to these bye-laws;\n(c) \"job porter\" means a person who carries goods for hire for reward;\n(d) \"licence\" means a licence issued under these bye-laws;\n(e) \"Secretary\" means the Secretary of a committee.",

            "title": "4. Conditions relating to grant of licence.",

            "content": "(a) puts in an application in form A to the Executive Officer or the Secretary, as the case may be, for the grant of a licence in form B and has attached with the application two copies of his recent photograph and a certificate from a reliable person to the effect that the applicant is personally known to him for not less than two years immediately preceding the date of application and that the particulars given in the application are correct to the best of his knowledge;\n(b) has paid such fees as are fixed from time to time by the committee and such other charges as are leviable under these bye-laws;\n(c) has completed the age of seventeen years;\n(d) is well acquainted with the principal streets and places of interest in the municipal areas;\n(e) is physically and mentally fit in all respects to act as a job porter;",

            "title": "5. Conditions to be complied with by licensee.",

            "content": "(a) shall at all times, while waiting for hire or during the period of his duties as a job porter affix the badge supplied to him under bye-laws 7 on his person in such a manner that it can be early noticed ;\n(b) shall take proper care of the badge and shall not alter, deface or obliterate it;\n(c) shall, while on duty, wear clothes of such colour, design and shape as may be prescribed by the Executive Officer or the Secretary, as the case may be, from time to time;\n(d) shall deposit at the nearest police station all goods or property left with him by the owner thereof negligently or by mistake;\n(e) shall not demand or receive more than the maximum hire fixed by a committee from time to time;\n(f) shall not carry load more than 94 kilograms at a time.",
