        "content": "(i) conferment of honorary degrees;\n(ii) holding of convocations to confer degrees;\n(iii) powers and duties of the officers of the University;\n(iv) constitution, powers and duties of the authorities, of the University save as provided in this Act ;\n(v) institution and maintenance by the University of departments, institutes of research or specialised studies and hostels;\n(vi) acceptance and management of bequests, donations and endowments;\n(vii) registration of graduates and maintenance of a register of registered graduates;\n(viii) procedure at meetings of the authorities of the University and for the transaction of their business;\n(ix) qualifications of professors, readers, lecturers and teachers in affiliated colleges and recognised institutions;\n(x) all matters which by this Act are to be or may be prescribed by the Statutes.",
