        "content": "(i) to make provisions for instruction, teaching and training in, for research in and for the advancement and dissemination of knowledge of, the Ayurvedic system of medicine;\n(ii) to make such provisions as will enable affiliated colleges and recognised institutions to undertake specialisation of studies;\n(iii) to institute professorships, readerships, lectureships, and any other posts of teachers required by the University;\n(iv) to institute fellowships, travelling fellowships, scholarships, studentships, exhibitions, medals and prizes;\n(v) to institute and confer, degrees, titles, diplomas and other academic distinctions;\n(vi) to make, amend or repeal the Statutes;\n(vii) to consider, cancel, refer back but not amend [the Ordinance or the Regulation] ;\n(viii) to consider and pass resolutions on the annual reports and annual accounts;\n(ix) to consider the annual financial estimates prepared by the Syndicate and pass resolutions with reference thereto ;\n(x) to elect office bearers and authorities as provided in the Act and the Statutes;\n(xi) to exercise such other powers and perform such other duties as may be conferred or imposed upon it by this Act or the [the Statutes, Ordinances and Regulations.]",
