        "content": "2. In the Act, for Section 3, the following Section shall be substituted, namely:-\r\n\r\n\"3. In the principal Act, for sub-section (3) of Section 197, the following sub-section shall be substituted, namely:-\r\n\r\n\"(3) The State Government may, by notification, direct that the provisions of sub-section (2) shall apply\r\n\r\n(a) to such class or category of the members of the Forces charged with the maintenance of public order, or\r\n\r\n(b) to such class or category of other public servants charged with the maintenance of public order, as may be specified in the notification, wherever they may be serving, and thereupon the provisions of sub-section (2) shall apply as if for the expression \"Central Government\" occurring therein, the expression \"State Government\" were substituted.\"",
