        "content": "The Chief Commissioner may-\n(a) direct that the mukaddam of each village shall, for the purpose of showing the changes occurring\ntherein subsequently to the preparation of the record-of-rights, prepare, or, where there is a patwari,\ncause to be prepared, and furnish, annually for such village, papers in such form, at such time,\ncontaining such particulars, and attested in such manner, as the Chief Commissioner may, from time to\ntime, prescribe;\n(b) lay down the procedure to be followed in order to ascertain that a change has occurred in the\nvillage, and the nature of such change.\n\nAll changes referred to in this section shall be recorded in such registers as the Chief Commissioner\nappoints, and not in the record-of-rights, and the Chief Commissioner may direct that, before any\nspecified changes are recorded, the order of a specified Revenue-officer shall be obtained in this behalf.",
