        "title": "Section 74. General powers of Zila Parishad",

        "content": "(1) Subject to the general or special \norders of the Government, the Zila Parishad may – \n(a) incur expenditure on  education or medical reli ef outside its \njurisdiction; \n(b) provide for carrying out any work or measures l ikely to promote \nhealth, safety, education, comfort, convenience or social or \n(c) contribute to Association of All India, State o r Inter-State level \nconcerned with the promotion of Local Self Governme nt and to \nexhibitions, seminars and conferences within the di strict related \nto the activities of Panchayat Samiti and Zila Parishad; and \n(d) render financial or other assistance to any per son or body for \ncarrying on in the district any activity which is related to any of the \nfunctions of the State. \n(2) The Zila Parishad shall have powers to do all a cts necessary for or \nincidental to the carrying out of the functions ent rusted or delegated \nto it and in particular, and without prejudice to the foregoing powers to \nexercise all powers specified under this Act.",
