        "content": "(1) The Government may assign to a Panchayat Samiti  functions in relation to any \nmatters to which the executive authority of the Gov ernment extends or the \nfunctions which have been assigned to State Governm ent by the Central \nGovernment. \n(2) The Government may, by notification, withdraw o r modify the functions \nassigned under this section.",
