            "content": "An Act further to amend the Assam Tea Plantations Provident Fund and Pension Fund and Deposit Linked Insurance Fund Scheme Act, 1955 (Assam Act X of 1955)\r\n\r\nWhere as it is expedient further to amend the Assam Tea Plantations Provident Fund and Pension Fund and Deposit Linked Insurance Fund Scheme Act, 1955 (Assam Act X of 1955), hereinafter referred to as the Principal Act, in the manner hereinafter appearing,\r\n\r\nIt is hereby enacted in the Fifty-third Year of the Republic of India as follows:-",

            "content": "(i) This Act may be called the Assam Tea Plantations Provident Fund and Pension Fund and Deposit Linked Insurance Fund Scheme (Amendment) Act, 2002.\r\n(ii) It shall have the like extent as the principal Act.\r\n(iii) It shall come into force at once.",

            "title": "Section 2. Amendment of Section 3",

            "content": "In the principal Act, in Section 3, in sub-section 4, after the clause (a), the following provisos shall be inserted, namely:-\r\n\"Provided that if the employer fails to deposit the contribution which he is required to make under clause (a) within 15 (fifteen) days of the close of every month, the employer shall be liable to pay interest at the rate of 15% per annum on the arrear till it is deposited:\r\nProvided further that the employer shall be liable to pay the interest along with the required contribution to make under Clause (a).\"",
