            "title": "2. Travelling Allowance & Dearness Allowance to Sarpanch, Upa-Sarpanch and Members of Gram Panchayat.",

            "content": "(a) If the tours undertaken within the Mandals, no Travelling Allowance and Dearness Allowance shall be paid.\n(b) The Sarpanch shall be eligible to draw sitting fee for attending Mandal Parishad meetings at the rates admissible under relevant rules from Mandal Parishad funds.\n(c) If he does not utilise the Government vehicle for journeys outside Mandal Jurisdiction, the Travelling Allowance shall be as follows:\n(i) By Train: Second Class Sleeper fare\n(ii) By Bus: Bus fares.\n(iii) By Scooter: Rs. 0.55 per km. subject to a maximum of Rs. 55/- (Rupees fifty five only) per day.\n(iv) By Car: Rs. 2/- per km. subject to maximum of Rs. 100/- per day.\n(d) Where the places are connected by Train the journey should necessarily be performed by Train. If the Sarpanch or Upa-Sarpanch or Member performs journey by Motor Cycle or Car between such meeting propulsion charges for himself, shall be limited to the Train fare entitled, whichever is less.\n(e) Daily Allowance: Rs. 30/- (Rupees thirty only) for each day of journey.\nNote. - \"Day\" means 24 hours of absence from Headquarters commencing from the minute the individual leaves the Headquarters. One Daily Allowance shall be allowed for absence of 12 hours and more and 1/2 Daily Allowance for absence of six hours and more and no Daily Allowance for absence of less than six hours.\nNote.",
