        "title": "Section 42. (1) The Lokayukta shall maintain proper accounts and other relevant",

        "content": "records and prepare an annual statement of accounts in such form\nas may be prescribed in consultation with the Accountant General,\nArunachal Pradesh.\n(2) The accounts of the Lokayukta shall be audited by the Accountant\nGeneral, Arunachal Pradesh at such intervals as may be specified\nby him.\n(3) The Accountant General, Arunachal Pradesh or any person\nappointed by him in connection with the audit of the accounts of\nthe Lokayukta underthisAct shall have the same rights, privileges\nand authority in connection with such audit, as the Accountant\nGeneral, Arunachal Pradesh generally has, in connection with the\naudit of the Government accounts and, in particular, shall have\nthe right to demand the production ol books, accounts, connected\nvouchers and other documents and papers and to inspect any of\nthe offices of the Lokayukta.\n{4) The accounts of the Lokayukta, as ce(ified by the Accountant\nGeneral, Arunachal Pradesh or any other person appointed by him\nin this behalf, together with the audit report thereon, shall be\nforwarded annually to the Government and the Government shall\ncause the same to be laid before theArunachal Pradesh Legislative\nAssembly.",
